Yes. It is made for regular black hockey pucks.

Yes. Lay it on grass, concrete or a garage floor. A flat surface underneath gives the best result.

Is it big enough to shoot from?

It is sized for sauce and stickhandling rather than full slap shots. For shooting, choose the 120 x 60 cm pad or larger.
