Roll the pad up and tighten the straps. Rolled it measures around 61 x 31 in and stands on end in the garage. Nothing to assemble, nothing to screw down, and the driveway is back in a minute.

What is included?

The 4.5 x 10 ft shooting pad and the straps you roll it up with. Nothing else is needed.

Can I use real pucks?

Yes. The surface is built for regular black hockey pucks and gives glide close to real ice.

How thick is it?

3 mm. Thin enough to roll up, thick enough to feel right under the blade even on full slap shots.

Will it lie flat after storage?

Yes. Roll it out and give it a little time to settle. An hour in the sun speeds that up.

Can it stay outside?

It is UV treated and weatherproofed for outdoor use. Roll it up and bring it in when you are not training for a while and it will last longer.

What is the difference from the smaller Roll-Up?

This one is 4.5 x 10 ft, the smaller one is 4 x 8.5 ft. The XL gives you room to change angle between shots and to step into the shot.

How fast is shipping?

Will a passer clamp onto the edge?

Yes. The Extreme Hockey Passer Clamp-On clamps onto the edge. Note that the passer opening is 30 in wide while the pad is 54 in across, so the passer sits on the edge rather than spanning the full width.

How big is it rolled up?

Around 61 x 31 x 1 in rolled with the straps on. It fits in a normal car and stands on end in the garage.

Can I make the surface more slippery?

No, and you should not need to. The surface is made to glide with regular pucks straight away. Do not use wax, spray or oil, it collects dirt and makes the glide worse over time. Sweep it instead.

Can I skate on it?

No. The pad is for shooting, passing and stickhandling in shoes. For skating you need synthetic ice.
